Join us for our monthly quiz night, We invite fierce competitors, seasoned quizzers, and those who are hot on current affairs and general knowledge. We recommend booking a table however will do our best to accommodate you if you just come along.
Fish & Fizz
Choose any of our fish specials throughout the day, every Friday, and get a bottle of Prosecco for just £25. Kick-start your weekend with good food and a tipple at the pub!
Pie & Pour Mondays
Start the week with a pie and a pint. Choose any pie from the menu with a pint of Hawkstone or a 175ml glass of house red or white wine for £25. Available every Monday.
Share & Pair
Join us for an evening of shared plates and well-chosen wines. Choose any of our sharing dishes and receive £15 off the bottle of wine we've selected for the week - our kitchen and bar work together to pair each dish with a glass that suits it. Relaxed, generous and centred on the table.

The game is afoot… Step into the world of Sherlock Holmes for an evening of dinner, intrigue and a rather puzzling poisoning. Settle in as the mystery unfolds around you, following the clues and uncovering secrets along the way.

New Year's Eve at The Crown
Join us at The Crown to see out 2026 with good food, drinks and music. We'll be serving our winter à la carte menu alongside a selection of specials from the kitchen. Whether you're joining us for an early dinner or staying to welcome in the New Year, there's plenty to look forward to. From 9pm, our DJ will take us through to 1am, with music and dancing to see in 2027. Dining from 5.30pm | DJ from 9pm – 1am

Arrive to a seasonal drink before sitting down to a set-menu supper, then retreat to your room for the night and join us for breakfast in the morning. Based on two guests sharing, your stay includes:

- A seasonal set-menu supper, with supplements available
- Our seasonal choice of drink for each guest
- Late check out at 12pm
