Hotels Suffolk – The Crown, Stoke by Nayland, Suffolk
The Crown Stoke by Nayland Suffolk, was reopened in November 2003 after extensive refurbishment. The boutique Hotel which took twelve months to build was launched in September 2008.
The Crown Stoke by Nayland is our privately owned village Inn with a reputation for making everyone feel welcome. We simply have a passion for good service, food, wine and real ale. Our new Suffolk Hotel, which we finished building in September 2008, was a natural extension for the inn. The eleven luxury en-suite bedrooms are stylishly furnished and individually designed in sympathy with the historic surroundings.
Stoke by Nayland, is a picturesque village built on a hill above the Stour and Box river valleys on the Suffolk/Essex border. The 120-foot tower of St Mary’s Church is a local landmark and features in the works of the 18th Century English landscape artist John Constable, who immortalised the surrounding countryside of The Dedham Vale, which is now designated ‘an area of outstanding natural beauty.
