Hotels Suffolk - The Crown Stoke by Nayland, Suffolk
The Crown Stoke by Nayland Suffolk, was reopened in November 2003 after extensive refurbishment. The boutique Hotel which took twelve months to build was launched in September 2008.
The Crown Stoke by Nayland, an historic privately owned village Inn has a reputation for making everyone feel welcome - without pretension - simply a passion for high standards, good service, food, wine and real ale. To complete the picture a boutique Hotel has been created - eleven stylish luxury en-suite bedrooms individually designed and furnished.
Stoke by Nayland, is a picturesque village built on a hill above the Stour and Box river valleys on the Suffolk/Essex border. The 120-foot tower of St Mary's Church is a local landmark and features in the works of the 18th Century English landscape artist John Constable, who immortalised the surrounding countryside of The Dedham Vale, which is now designated 'an area of outstanding natural beauty.
If the hustle and bustle of everyday life gets just too much the Crown is the perfect choice to getaway from it all. Explore the glorious Suffolk countryside, hire a boat at Flatford Mill or Dedham, or visit the historic villages of Lavenham, Long Melford or Kersey. Once you have done all this you may perhaps feel like venturing slightly further afield to the historic seaside towns of Frinton or Aldeburgh - the Crown is ideally located, but yet removed enough to completely unwind!
