Wine at The Crown
There is something exciting about sampling new and rare wines at the Crown. Doing just that has added another dimension, rarely found elsewhere.
It has created a following from discerning customers who simply want to experience some of the best drinking wines available today - over 30 by the glass from a personally compiled collection of over 250 bins, at reasonable prices, with or without food, after all this is a pub!
The Crown, home to its very own wine shop, features wines from around the world that can be drunk at the Pub or taken away. Magnums of Chateau Talbot, Henschke's Hill of Grace, a plethora of Red and White Burgundies - Leflaive, Sauzet, Lafon to name but a few, scarce in some of London's or New York's top restaurants! All dutifully looked after but without all the association wine often brings with it - no procrastination or flannel - just simply and lovingly served, and then enjoyed.
