THE ROOMS
The eleven rooms are quietly located in our new boutique Hotel to the rear of the property, overlooking open countryside. All rooms are individually decorated and very comfortably furnished, with handcrafted beds and Henderson Russell Furniture.
Rooms on the ground floor are contemporary in design whilst the rooms upstairs are furnished in a country home style with Enchanted House iron bedsteads. All have king size or super king size beds with luxury pocket sprung mattresses. Three rooms have French windows opening on to their own terrace.
All Rooms are rated Standard, Superior, Deluxe and Executive. Standard rooms have bathrooms with walk-in Matki showers, Superior have a bath with power-shower, Deluxe and Executive rooms have Matki walk-in showers and separate baths. One room has disabled facilities with a level wet room.
A full English breakfast is included and is served from 7.30. For those making an earlier start a continental style breakfast with freshly baked breads, homemade jams and marmalade can be served in your room.

The Hotel reserves the right to charge in full accommodation cancelled within 48 hours prior to the date of arrival. Cancellation: your reservation is made with Edward Oliver Inns Ltd. t/a The Crown at Stoke by Nayland and represents a legally binding contract between you and the hotel.
If you reserve more than 5 rooms on any one or more night(s) this is deemed a group reservation and we require a 50% non-refundable deposit for the total stay, and all other terms and conditions will apply. For group reservations we require a minimum of 21 days notice of cancellation or amendment of any reservation to avoid a cancellation charge of the total value of the reservation as detailed in the confirmation letter. The same terms apply to bookings of 5 or more nights.
For other bookings a minimum of 48 hours notice is required.
At the sole discretion of the proprietors, the charge MAY be waived in part if we are able to re-let the cancelled room(s) in part, and WILL be waived in full if the total value of the booking can be replaced in full.
Please note offers may not be used in conjunction with any other offer or special package rate.
We require a valid credit card to secure bookings and reserve the right to charge the card for cancellations falling outside the permitted time scales, as detailed above. By entering into this contract you are authorising us to make the above charges to the card without any additional consent being required.
Smoking: The Crown at Stoke by Nayland is completely smoke free. We reserve the right to charge an extra night’s stay (at the prevailing B&B rate and using the credit card given to secure the booking) if we have to especially clean and air the room for 24 hours before another guest can occupy it.
Damage: In the unlikely event of replacement, cleaning or repair being required to any item(s) belonging to the hotel, or the fabric of the hotel itself, because of wilful damage, or damage incurred because reasonable precautions have not been taken, we reserve the right to reclaim all and any costs incurred including loss of business by charging the credit card given to secure the booking, without prior consent being required. Invoices will be supplied to support the claims/costs charged.
